May 16 2016 – We received a HERS score of 51 for the new Energy Star pre-sale home in Thompson Crossing!! That is our best HERS score ever as our precious best was 52. We upgraded the basement blanket insulation from R11 to R19 and that made a huge difference. This means their new R&R energy efficient home is approximately 49% more energy efficient than a standard new home!
